When you become a member of your local builders association, you’re also a member of the North Dakota Association of Builders (NDAB) and the National Association of Builders (NAHB). This federation works for the benefit of the building industry and its members. There are over 1,400 members across North Dakota, and over 140,000 members nationwide.
The mission of the North Dakota Association of Builders is to represent the professional building industry through legislation, information and education.

SENIOR LIFE DELEGATES
Senior Life Delegates are Life Delegates who have attended two meetings per year for an additional 10 consecutive years (for a total of 20 years). Senior Life Delegates receive permanent voting rights within NAHB, with no continuing attendance requirements.

NDAB designates National Delegates to represent its membership each year on the National Association of Home Builders' leadership council.

Kayla Pulvermacher, Chief Executive Officer
Pulvermacher holds a degree in Political Science from North Dakota State University. Currently she serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the North Dakota Association of Builders where she advocates for the home building industry.
Prior to her work with NDAB, she worked as the State Legislative Director for Dakota Credit Union Association and as a Policy Advisor for Clearwater Communications. She has also served as the director of government relations for the North Dakota Farmers Union, where she coordinated all advocacy activities, including specific issue campaigns and state and federal relations. While employed at Farmers Union, she was named one of Prairie Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40.” She was also a previous director of government relations for the North Dakota Education Association.
Kayla lives in Lincoln with her sons Jack and Ty, as well as her bulldog Marvel.
Brittney Roehrich, Director of Operations & Member Services
Brittney is originally from Minot and moved to Fargo to pursue a degree in Retail Merchandising with a minor in Business Administration at North Dakota State University (GO BISON!). She resided in Fargo for many years while holding various positions at Vanity Corporate for nine years then moved on to International Marketing Systems.
In 2019, Brittney and her husband, Rob Roehrich moved to Bismarck. She accepted a position at the Bismarck-Mandan Home Builders Association in 2020 and worked there for two years. She met many of our members and worked closely with the board and committees to strengthen the association.
