The new year is here -- save the date for our 2026 NDAB Events! Our meetings and events will be held on the same day this year. Our Spring BUILD-PAC Social and Spring Board Meeting will take place in Bismarck on March 31. We will be headed to beautiful Medora for our Summer Social and Summer Board Meeting on August 4. Our year will conclude with our Fall Board Meeting and Annual Banquet/Annual Meeting of the Members in Minot on November 3 with Jeff Haider (MAB) being installed as our 2027 NDAB President. Keep your eye out for further details on all our events coming soon.
Welcome to our new board members in 2026! Bob Miller, Tim Gauer, & Joe Striegel (BIA-RRV), Joe Johnson (DAHBA), Ron Rudser & Marie Hallof (MAB), and Sherisa Cauthen & Lisa Patton (WABA). Adam Olson with the BIA-RRV will step into a Senior Officer role as the Treasurer of NDAB. We are excited to have them join our leadership team!
The 2026 International Builders’ Show is almost here! Make sure you get registered if you haven’t yet as the rates go up on January 10. Go to www.buildersshow.com to register. The show will take place in Orlando on February 17-19 with leadership meetings beginning on February 14. The Area 10 Reception will be on February 17 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. This is a great opportunity to visit with your peers across the state and to also introduce yourself to our Student Chapters. Other NAHB events in 2026 include the Spring Leadership Meeting & Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. on June 9-13 and the Fall Leadership Meeting in Detroit, MI on October 6-8.

The event will be held in Madison, WI on April 23-24. Attendees of the conference will include emerging leaders, Executive Officers & staff across North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. This training is uniquely designed to offer sessions that support the professional development of both member leaders and HBA staff.
